Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is influenced by the British Columbia Early Learning Framework but we follow a mixed philosophy program — bringing together the best practices from various early childhood education philosophies — Child-led Learning, Play based, Academic and Traditional ECE. Children are encouraged to explore their environment and express themselves through words, movement, drawing, painting, playing and natural modes of expression. Our programs are committed to encourage children to think creatively so they can succeed in a complex and ever-changing world.

Simply Kids is committed to fostering an environment that promotes and sustains high quality inclusive Early Childhood Education and Care. We work closely with Inclusion Langley and Centre for Child Development to provide opportunities for all children to develop their language, social, physical and cognitive abilities.
For our staff to monitor development in partnership with families, Simply Kids uses the Ages & Stages Questionnaires®, (ASQ®-3) for children between 0-36 months of age. Ages & Stages Questionnaires®, (ASQ®-3) is a developmental screening tool designed for use by early educators and health care professionals. It relies on parents as experts, is easy-to-use, family-friendly and creates the snapshot needed to catch delays and celebrate milestones. By sending home questionnaires every 3-6 months we are easily able to identify areas of strength or concern and respond accordingly.

Meet the Founder!
Raina Adnan
Raina Adnan is the director of Simply Kids Childcare Centre. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for many years. Starting out as a lead teacher in the early years of her career, she opened Simply Kids in 2016 in Langley, BC with the mission to offer high quality, affordable and inclusive childcare option to families.
Her commitment is to provide you and your child with the best in childcare and she puts her heart and soul into fulfilling the needs of families, children and her staff. Please feel free to share your views or concerns with Raina. Your feedback is valuable.
